Day 2 | 2016 | 30 in 30
It is recommended to have a theme when you paint daily. That makes a lot of sense. Otherwise you struggle and spend way too much time trying to come up with ideas of things to paint. Not sure why, but my brain just doesn't like to think that way no matter how much I wish it were so. I don't paint animals very often and thought this project would be the perfect opportunity to push myself. So I'm going to try very hard to paint dogs, cats and birds for the next 29 days. OK, I didn't start off well with my theme ... but it was at least a cute ceramic bear!I asked my niece if she had any cute pictures of her dog.... does she ever. Meet Agnes.

This sweet painting turned out so well. Glad you are in the challenge and will watch for your next adventures.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I rarely paint animals and looking for a "theme" decided the challenge would be a good time to step out of my comfort zone.
ReplyDeleteGood for you! Lovely painting. The gals in my art club finally decided to give this a go, so felt like I had to -- but really not up for it at all. Hoping to get motivated - seeing your, and other's work, is helping a lot!
ReplyDeleteYou have captured this dog's character - I enjoy animal paintings, will check in again.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done.
ReplyDeleteThank you
