I am having a hard time believing it,
but I’m beginning to actually enjoy doing the mugs. Of course for most I have at least one false start. Mine still don’t really look like the person,
but there is a slight resemblance!
If you haven’t
tried a challenge I highly recommend them. They are a great way for an artist to step out of their
comfort zone… and painting faces is way out of mine.
WANTED
Cindy, aka, “The Nurturer” last seen in Chicago.

Cindy, Mug #6, 4x4" oil on gessobord |
Here is the latest lead from Supervisor Wanda in the Hilton Head Caper case that put us onto looking at Cindy:
Chicago, home of some of the most
notorious gangsters of all time – Al Capone, Bugs Moran, John Dillinger.
Home of speakeasies, gambling, prostitution, bootlegging and the St.
Valentine’s Day Massacre. Also, home of Cindy “The Nurturer” Oneal.
Coincidence? I think not!
Cindy is one of those most dastardly
of criminals – one who dons the disguise of a caring professional nurse she
passes easily among us. But beware – she has access to our most
vulnerable, most helpless and yes, most easily influenced – our babies.
Often seen cuddling a new born and assuring a new Mom that everything will be
alright she is fostering complete trust in the health care system. In
Canada this might be viewed as benign, but in America – well, one never
knows. Remember, cuddling can easily lead to whipping that camera out for
a future painting. Would you trust your grandchild with this woman?
I rest my case.
