It is Spring and ART is in the air at Vale!!
It is hard to believe tomorrow is the last day of the show. It has been a wonderful and eye opening experience. The ValeArts Members are a terrific and remarkable group of ladies. And oh my, do they have putting up a show down to a lean mean machine science. I always learn something new with every show I do, but I cannot tell you how impressed I have been with the way they handle everything. Their organization, from how they put the show up, hanging art from 12 foot high hooks and never getting on a ladder (my personal favorite new tip since I'm usually the one on the ladder), the way they divide up the space so fairly, how they do their inventory sheets even their accounting methods. They are amazing.
It has been fun to see how so much art by 9 artists just works together. You can't believe how much can be fit and be enjoyed a in small historical school house. There is one more day to enjoy it.
Keep your fingers crossed for us that the sun will come out tomorrow....We about froze today!
